Urban Decay; Naked On The Run Kit

Urban Decay

Hi everyone!

While Paige is off having an amazing Spring Break Euro Trip she’s been so kind as to let me take over her blog today to chat a little bit about one of my new favorite products to travel with, especially this time of year when so many of us are headed off to sunny, tropical destinations for our week-long sabbaticals from studying, all-nighters and endless amounts of caffeine to keep us going throughout our busy days and weeks.

Before we dive into the goods, allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Chelsea E. Sheridan and I’m from Cleveland, OH! I, myself, am actually in the process of designing and launching my very own fashion, lifestyle and beauty blog, Pretty Pink and Proper, which should be coming to a web address near you very, very soon!

I’m a shopaholic who’s also a huge personal style, beauty, coffee, travel, crafting, and Gilmore Girls enthusiast (just to name a few). I love 80’s one-hit-wonders, country music, as well as watching old movies with my mom and sister (especially those that involve my girl Audrey Hepburn), and traveling with my family and friends.

Okay, now on to the fun stuff!

I’ve been super into makeup and beauty for about 2 years now, and have learned so much just through personal use and research. This past fall after graduating I also was given the opportunity to begin work at Sephora (aka the mother-ship) and was even more exciting to gain so much more product knowledge. Being very beauty and makeup conscience I typically wear a full-face of makeup every day, aside from running errands on my days off, grocery shopping, etc.

When traveling I’ve noticed how difficult it can be to really narrow down those products you don’t need or don’t know how to condense, in order to truly maximize your space and realistically bring what you’ll use.

This past holiday season Urban Decay released their limited edition Naked On The Run kit, which is literally the most AMAZING kit to ever hit the shelves as far as I’m concerned.

The bundle includes: (1) Naked lipgloss in the “Sesso,” (1) Perversion Mascara, (1) 24/7 Glide-on eye liner pencil in the color “Stag,” 5 neutral toned eye shadows- 3 sparkle and 2 matte shades, (1) highlighter and a blush and bronzer duo all in one sleek little mirrored compact.

This is the perfect, and I mean PERFECT (not to get all shouty on ya) compact to throw in  your purse if you’re a working lady on-the-go or for those trips that you’re just not interested in bringing along your whole makeup collection.

The Perversion mascara is hands down one of my most favorite mascaras I’ve ever used, it’s amazing for volume, lengthening and thickness and is very comparable to the sought-after Better Than Sex mascara that Too Faced makes, AND Kim K even used it on her wedding day to Kanye, so that’s something, right?  Urban Decay is typically a brand that can already sell itself, especially since their release of the infamous Naked palettes, however this palette is truly something every woman could find use for in her life no matter how comfortable you are with makeup, I even convinced my minimal-makeup-wearing mother to snag one! I know that these were limited edition, so run don’t walk to your nearest Sephora or click THIS link to order yours!

A special thank you to Paige and all of you for allowing me to babble on about my passion for makeup and UD. I would love to have you all join me and follow along on my Instagram page, @chelseaesheridan, until my official blog launch coming in the next month! I hope you all have the most fabulous day and an even more fabulous Spring Break!

XO,

Chelsea
