When I attended Polo For Heart a few weeks ago, the ladies and I had a wonderful afternoon. We didn't realize however how intensely some people do polo attendance. So we were determined to try again, but this time attend polo like the professionals we knew we could be.
Today was that day! We planned to attend Polo For The Cure; we purchased a table, prepared a picnic fit for a queen, and grabbed our funny hair accessories and floppy hats.
We headed down to the Toronto Polo Club only to find out the event had been rained out. So what do you do when you have a giant picnic in the car, and a polo field to yourself and your 5 friends? Place your picnic directly on the field and spend the afternoon chatting! Lets be honest, the polo game would only have been the background entertainment to our picnic and conversation anyways.
Turns out being the dedicated Polo For The Cure attendees we are, we managed to make it onto the front page of the website. http://poloforthecure.com/
Though our polo attendance lacked the polo game itself, the girls and I like to see the glass half full, or 3/4 full if possible. All in all it was a great way to spend a grey Sunday afternoon.
Polo For The Cure will be held this Tuesday at the Toronto Polo Club, with games at 6 and 7 PM if you'd like to attend for the wonderful cause! www.poloforthecure.com
